RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase materials including sand, gravel, stone, and spoil removal services for Lake County Public Works, Lake County Division of Transportation, the Village of Lincolnshire, the Village of Libertyville, and the City of Waukegan; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for sand, gravel, stone, and spoil removal services; and
WHEREAS, the County has competitively sourced a vendor, Kirschhoffer Truck Service, Inc, to provide these services through the public bid process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to enter into the contract with Kirschhoffer Truck Service, Inc., Zion, Illinois, for the purchase of sand, gravel, stone, and spoil removal services in an estimated amount of $303,785.
