New Client Wait List
General Medicine:
As of August 19, 2026, there are 460 individuals on our general medicine new client waitlist, 289 adults and 171 pediatrics. These individuals are looking to establish care in our following health centers:
• Belvidere Medical Building: 37%
• Midlakes: 30%
• North Chicago: 21%
• Zion: 12%
The general medicine new client wait list has increased by 180 individuals since the August 25, 2026 report to Governing Council. There are currently 85 new patient appointment slots/week.
Dental: As of August 24, 2026, there are 271 individuals on our dental new client waitlist, 171 adults and 100 pediatrics.
Behavioral Health (Psychiatry):
Adult:
As of August 24, 2026, there is no wait list for psychiatry appointments at the Libertyville Health Center (Peterson) and 7 individuals on the wait list at the Grand Ave Health Center.
Child and Adolescent (CABS):
As of August 24, 2026, there are 56 individuals on the new client waitlist. The CABS waitlist has remained constant since the August 25, 2026, report to Governing Council. CABS Screening, Assessment and Support Services (SASS) clients are given priority for appointments and not placed on a waitlist.
Staffing Update
Open positions:
• General Medicine/Women’s Health APRN/MD/DO: 9
• FQHC Psychiatrist/APRN: 6
• Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) Psychiatrist/APRN: 2
North Shore Health Center (NSHC) Update
Dental services will end at NSHC on September 30, 2026. The NSHC dental care team will be moved to Belvidere Medical Building starting October 1, 2026. The BMB dental care team will move to Zion Health Center. Patients seen at the NSHC September 1, 2024 to present, will receive notification via the patient portal or mail of the closure of NSHC.
