· Pursuant to the terms of an approved County/Developer agreement, temporary span-wire traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of Quentin Road at Ensell Road, the entrance to Kildeer Estates development,
· The signals will be interconnected to the traffic control signals at IL Rte. 22 and Quentin Road.
· Before a project letting can be held, an appropriation of $165,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds is required.

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Quentin Road (County Highway 5) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, a development in the northeast quadrant of IL Rte. 22 and Quentin Road, commonly known as Kildeer Estates, has a permitted access to Quentin Road at Ensell Road, which access improvement needs to be completed, including the installation of permanent traffic control signals, and

WHEREAS, the Lake County Board, at its meeting of November 16, 2010, approved an agreement among Kildeer Two, LLC, Cypress Grove Development, LLC and Lake County to provide a schedule and manner for the construction of all access improvements along Quentin Road related to the Cypress Grove development, commonly known as the said Kildeer Estates, and

WHEREAS, under the terms of said agreement and using funds on hand from the County’s draw on a portion of the performance assurance of the original developer of said Kildeer Estates, the County is to have installed temporary span-wire traffic control signals and including an interconnect to the traffic signals at IL Rte. 22 and Quentin Road, and
