RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County State's Attorney's Office has been authorized to receive a three-month extension for a SFY25 Grant from the Illinois DHS VPS, for an extended time period of July 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025, in the amount of $18,841.00; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County State's Attorney's Office will use this funding to further continue its Gun Violence Prevention Initiative through funding a VPCC Program Coordinator (position number 41160); and
WHEREAS, the grant extension must be formally accepted by Lake County and it is necessary to appropriate this grant extension funding; and
