Resolution recommending the appointment of Sidney Mathias as a member of the Lake County Board, representing District 20.

Body

WHEREAS, due to the resignation of David Stolman, there now exists a vacancy in the District 20 County Board seat; and

WHEREAS, your Chairman recommends Sidney "Sid" Mathias be appointed to represent the County's 20^th District on the County Board; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5/25-11 of the Election Code, Sidney Mathias shall serve until the next general election at which time the office shall be filled by election for the remainder of the four year term; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Sidney Mathias is hereby appointed as the District 20 representative on the Lake County Board.
