R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County has raised and recessed reflective pavement markers, delineating medians and lane lines throughout the County highway; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation undertakes the removal and replacement, where necessary, of these reflective pavement markers; and
WHEREAS, a survey of the conditions of the reflective pavement markers, throughout the County highway system, has been completed; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation will replace the raised reflective pavement markers with recessed pavement markers at various locations on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that $600,000 of Matching Tax funds is hereby appropriated for the 2016 removal and replacement, where necessary, of raised reflective pavement markers with recessed pavement markers at various locations on the County highway system, and designated as Section 16-00000-12-GM.
