RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to federal and state guidelines, members of the Lake County Workforce Development Board are appointed to three-year terms; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the following members expired on, Saturday, September 30, 2023: Carrie Espinosa, Josh Fischer, Carlotta Roman, Julie Savitt, Steve Smart, Dr. Lori Suddick, and Ken Swanson; and
WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the reappointments of Carrie Espinosa, Josh Fischer, Carlotta Roman, Julie Savitt, Steve Smart, Dr. Lori Suddick, and Ken Swanson to the Lake County Workforce Development Board for terms beginning on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and ending on Wednesday, September 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the appointees’ memberships within the Lake County Workforce Development Board shall be as follows: Carrie Espinosa, Josh Fischer, Carlotta Roman and Julie Savitt as Business Representatives; Steve Smart as a Labor-Apprenticeship Program Representative; Dr. Lori Suddick as an Education and Training Representative; and Ken Swanson as a Labor Representative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the reappointments of Carrie Espinosa, Josh Fischer, Carlotta Roman, Julie Savitt, Steve Smart, Dr. Lori Suddick, and Ken Swanson as members of the Lake County Workforce Development Board for terms beginning on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and ending on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, be, and the same are hereby confirmed.
