Staff Summary
* On June 11, 2013, the Lake County Board authorized a contract with PEG Consulting, Boise, Idaho for implementation of Oracle's Performance Management module.
* The project is based on the need for a performance management system to assist in the performance appraisal process for Lake County employees.
* The contract was awarded on a time and material basis to complete the necessary functional requirements, configuration, and training for the module.
* Based on recommendations from Lake County's Compensation Study, which was completed after the award of this contract, additional hours are required to complete the functional requirements to implement the various performance rating scales for County and Health Department employees.
* Change Order No. 1 provides an additional 120 hours to complete the remaining configuration and training necessary to deploy the module into production.
* In accordance with Article 8, section 101(2) of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, this change order was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was signed.
* Change Order No. 1 is in an amount not to exceed $19,200, increasing the previous contract amount from $92,280 to a total of $111,480.
