R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Washington Street (County Highway 45) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, the section of Washington Street between Green Bay Road and Teske Boulevard experiences periodic overtopping of the roadway; and

WHEREAS, the results of a Lake County Stormwater Management Commission study calls for additional upstream stormwater detention capacity to be constructed; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and the City of Waukegan are desirous of entering into an agreement for the construction of the above-said additional upstream stormwater detention capacity, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized and they are directed to execute an agreement pertaining to the financing of the above-named improvement.
