Staff Summary

•                     Change Order No. 1 for additional consulting engineering work on the FY 2009 Water Main Replacement Project is in the net amount of $14,056.97.

•                     This change order includes additional scope of work for design of approximately 850 lineal feet of water main on Lake Shore Drive in the Wildwood Water System.

•                     This section of water main has failed recently causing localized flooding to homes and is in need of full replacement.

•                     The addition of Change Order No.1 increases the contract amount from $86,558 to $100,614.97 resulting in an overall project increase of 16.2%.

•                     Change orders that exceed 10% of the total contract amount must be approved by the PW & T and F & A Committees.
