Resolution authorizing an agreement with Logicalis, Inc. of Downers Grove, Illinois, to implement Cisco Thousand Eyes a network and application monitoring software with support and licensing for one-year for an estimated total of $44,265.58 with the option to renew the support and licensing for two, 12-month periods.

Staff Summary
* This monitoring software will be a vital tool, increasing visibility into applications and improving the ability to identify problems affecting end-user experience.
* The pilot project will focus on the ICMS application and critical web services, and after successful implementation, the software will expand, and subsequent terms are estimated to cost $75,000.
* Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may either participate in, sponsor, conduct or administer a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, constructions, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement between those units to do so.
* A cooperative purchasing contract with Logicalis, Inc. has been identified through the 1Government Procurement Alliance (1GPA) (22-02PV-12) to procure needed goods, services, or professional services that have been competitively solicited and awarded.
