CARES Act Provider Relief Fund, $255,413.21 - Zun

On June 19, 2020, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) a total of $255,413.21 to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus healthcare-related expenses or lost revenues. Facilities and providers that received Medicare fee-for-service reimbursements in 2019 were eligible for payments under the General Distribution (Phase 1).
LCHD/CHC use of these funds is aligned to support healthcare-related expenses incurred for computer equipment, software and services, an additional server for training environment, operational supplies, medical supplies, consultant training sessions, dental equipment to meet CDC guidelines, additional midday cleanings, trainings for QI, and a vaccine refrigerator at Zion.
Time period: This is not a grant, but a reimbursement. Details for reporting requirements and time period will be released August 17, 2020.
