RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) has awarded a Supplemental Grant totaling $232,774 to the Workforce Development Department; and
WHEREAS, the Supplemental Grant funds employment and training initiatives in communities with increased needs; and
WHEREAS, the Supplemental Grant has a grant life of August 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $232,774 for the Workforce Development Department is hereby approved and that the Supplemental Grant be accepted.
