R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation maintains over 27,400 signs along various county highways and nonmotorized paths; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation purchased a new Sign Inventory System from 3M Company, St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2016; and
WHEREAS, the agreement with 3M Company provides for annual maintenance; and
WHEREAS, three years of annual maintenance service for the sign inventory system software will be provided in the years 2021 through 2023; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $29,100 of Matching Tax funds for three years of maintenance service ($9,700 annually) with 3M Company, for the Lake County Division of Transportation Sign Inventory System, a draft copy of the original agreement and the purchase order are attached hereto, and designated as Section 21-00000-20-GM.
