· This resolution replaces the County Board’s original resolution of November 14, 2006 and reemphasizes the County Board’s support for the goal of LCCTSC for a paratransit system in Lake County to meet the needs of seniors and persons with disabilities or medical needs.
· County Board member Stevenson Mountsier is re-appointed as the County’s representative to the LCCTSC.
· The County’s alternate member to the LCCTSC is to be LCDOT staff appointed by the Director of Transportation.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of November 14, 2006, adopted a resolution in support of the Lake County Coordinated Transportation Services Committee (LCCTSC) goal to develop a borderless paratransit system service in Lake County to meet the needs of seniors and persons with disabilities or medical needs; and
WHEREAS, certain segments of the population, including the elderly, persons with disabilities and persons with medical needs, require door-to-door (or curb-to-curb) transportation services that are demand-responsive, hereafter referred to as paratransit services; and
WHEREAS, numerous social service agencies and local governments provide paratransit services; and
