R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Gages Lake Road, County Highway 34, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, the culvert under Gages Lake Road, between Hunt Club Road and Illinois Route 21, has collapsed causing a safety hazard for the traveling public; and

WHEREAS, on July 13, 2017, in accordance with Article 6-103 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Acting County Engineer of Lake County declared that an emergency existed and certified an emergency procurement; and

WHEREAS, a contract, in the amount of $259,517.50, has been awarded to Lake County Grading, Libertyville, Illinois, a qualified construction firm having the necessary manpower, equipment, materials and expertise to implement the determined repairs to the culvert under Gages Lake Road, between Hun...
