Lake County owns property at the northwest corner of Winchester Road and Illinois Route 21, commonly referred to as the Libertyville Campus.
The existing Winchester Road right-of-way along the Libertyville Campus was never formally dedicated.
The Lake County Division of Transportation installed a shared-use path on the north side of Winchester Road along the frontage of the Lake County Libertyville Campus.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has an upcoming project to improve ADA accommodations at the intersection of Winchester Road and Illinois Route 21 that requires additional right-of-way from the Libertyville Campus.
This dedication will formally dedicate the existing 40-foot right-of-way along the Libertyville Campus property and dedicate an additional 20 feet to accommodate the bike path and IDOT’s upcoming project.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County is the owner of record of certain real property located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Winchester Road and Illinois Route 21 in Libertyville, Illinois, commonly referred to as the Libertyville Campus; and
WHEREAS, Winchester Road, County Highway 69, is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, the existing Winchester Road right-of-way along the Libertyville Campus property was never formally established and needs to be dedicated; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation installed a shared-use path on the north side of Winchester Road along the frontage of the Libertyville Campus; and
