• There are 41 Bluetooth readers installed in various locations across the County to provide travel times along certain corridors.
• Traffic Control Corporation is the vendor providing three years of maintenance for the travel time readers.
• The maintenance will allow for better functionality of the travel time readers and fix known bugs with the current version.
• This project is included in the highway improvement program.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its PASSAGE Program, endeavors to interconnect traffic control signal systems situated throughout Lake County; and
WHEREAS, ITS Travel Time Reader maintenance includes the maintenance of Bluetooth readers at 41 locations throughout the County; and
WHEREAS, an agreement exists with Traffic Control Corporation, Woodridge, Illinois, to maintain the travel time readers in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $85,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for the ITS Travel Time Reader maintenance at 41 locations throughout Lake County, and designated as Section 18-00268-19-TL.
