RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the goal of the Stormwater Management Commission's (SMC) Timber Lake Shoreline Stabilization Project is to restore and protect the shoreline of and improve water quality in Timber Lake and the Fox River Watershed; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by a grant from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IL EPA) through the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Nonpoint Source Implementation Program; and
WHEREAS, the SMC has been awarded a grant (3192410) with the IL EPA to receive $176,576.94 in grant funding, which is not included in the current year's budget; and
WHEREAS, the timely initiation and completion of the project is crucial for meeting the grant requirements and achieving project goals.
