RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Lake County’s Rules of Order and Operational Procedures, V.A.-1., the Chair of the County Board shall establish the standing committees and appoint the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Members of all standing committees subject to majority approval of the County Board of Members present; and
WHEREAS, Sara Knizhnik was appointed as a member of the Workforce Development Board by action of the County Board on December 10, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the County Board Chair retains the authority to modify committee memberships as it deems necessary to ensure effective governance, compliance with board rules, and the best interest of the County; and
WHEREAS, it is the request of the County Board Chair that Sara Knizhnik be removed as a member of the Workforce Development Board.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Sara Knizhnik be removed as a member of the Workforce Development Board.
