Staff Summary
* On April 25, 2025, the County Board authorized a contract with McDermott Center DBA Haymarket Center in the amount of $220,000.
* The Adult Probation Services Division of the Administrative Office of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit has determined a need for Recovery Coaching Outpatient Substance Use Treatment.
* In accordance with Section 33.082 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, this contract modification is germane to the original contract as signed and is in the best interest of Lake County, it is hereby requested that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to enter into Contract Modification Number One.
* This Committee Action authorizes Contract Modification Number One with McDermott Center DBA Haymarket Center in the estimated amount of $298,601 for outpatient substance use treatment programming.
* The Courts will absorb the cost within their fiscal year 2026 budget.
* This modification will cost the County a not to exceed amount of $298,601, increasing the contract from $220,000 to $518,601.
