R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the installation of a new steel pile retaining wall on the east side of Lewis Avenue, 2100 feet north of Illinois Route 173, along with a culvert liner, and designated as Section 11-00000-07-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened March 20, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Alliance Contractors, Inc., Woodstock, Illinois, their bid being $440,522.46 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
