R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Board of Lake County, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of Gilmer Road (County Highway 26) from Hawley Street to Diamond Lake Road and designated as Section 11-00079-16-RS; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on March 22, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker & Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $2,567,211.10, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of February 8, 2011, appropriated $2,400,000 of Matching Tax funds, $1,150,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds and $1,000,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds to provide for the resurfacing of Gilmer Road from Haw...
