RESOLUTION

                     WHEREAS, Aptakisic Road (County Highway 33) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

                     WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if traffic signals could be installed, with PASSAGE interconnect, at the intersection of Aptakisic Road and Brandywyn Lane; and

                     WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village of Buffalo Grove Road are desirous of entering into an agreement for the above-proposed traffic signal installation, a draft copy attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, be authorized, and they are hereby directed to execute on behalf of Lake County an agreement between Lake County and the Village of Buffalo Grove providing the terms and conditions for the proposed installation of traffic signals, with PASSAGE interconnect, at the intersection of Aptakisic Road and Brandywyn Lane; and designated as Section 07-00088-16-TL.  The County Engineer shall transmit in writing the final agreement to be executed by the Chair of the Lake County Board and the County Clerk.
