R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Stearns School Road (County Highway 74) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the deck of the bridge carrying Stearns School Road over I-94 could be repaired and resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this repair and resurfacing have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $325,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the repair and resurfacing of the bridge deck of Stearns School Road over I-94 and designated as Section 07-00236-02-BR.
