RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County Partners has been the official economic development organization for Lake County since its founding in 1998; and
WHEREAS, Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) has provided an opportunity for the City of Chicago, Cook County, DuPage County, Kane County, Kendall County, Lake County, Will County, and McHenry County to work cooperatively and promote economic development initiatives on a regional level; and
WHEREAS, funding will be provided upon Board approval of the agreement with Lake County Partners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board authorizes the development of an agreement with Lake County Partners, to represent Lake County at the Chicagoland Economic Partnership Initiative at a cost not to exceed $85,000 per year for three years.
