R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Board of Lake County, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids by publication for the resurfacing or seal coating of portions of the Washington Street Bike Path, the Millennium Bike Path and the Skokie Valley Bike Path and designated as Section 09-00000-10-RS; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on May 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer, and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Chicagoland Paving Contractors, Inc., Lake Zurich, Illinois their bid being $30,655 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of March 19, 2009, appropriated $50,000.00 of Matching Tax funds for the improvement of the aforesaid section.
