• This resolution seeks County Board approval of the amendment and modification to Section 3 of the Employment Agreement of County Administrator, Patrice Sutton, effective upon County Board approval and execution of the modification by the parties.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the current salary of the County Administrator is deemed subpar based on a comparison of local municipal administrator salaries; and
WHEREAS, as a result, the County Board Chair is recommending an increase in the base salary of the County Administrator, Patrice Sutton; and
WHEREAS, the County Board Chair is recommending the new annual salary be two-hundred ninety-six thousand eight hundred and fifty-three dollars ($296,853) effective upon Board approval and execution of the modification by the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the amendment and modification to the Employment Agreement for Patrice Sutton, County Administrator, to be an annual salary of $296,853, along with only those other specific changes to Section 3 - Salary as set forth above; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said amendment and modification is effective upon Board approval and execution of the modification by the parties.
