•                     State Park Rd at US Rte 12:  IDOT proposed Traffic Signal Modernization

•                     LCDOT has received a letter from IDOT requesting concurrence with the scope of work and cost participation in a Highway Safety Improvement Project.

•                     The improvement will include the modernization of the traffic signal at the intersection of US Rte. 12 at State Park Road (County Highway 10).

•                     LCDOT will investigate the possibility of wireless connection to Lake County PASSAGE.

•                     The anticipated letting is the spring of 2010 with work commencing in the fall of 2010.

•                     The total cost is estimated at $200,000 with the approximate cost to the County of $6,667 plus engineering (15%).
