R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Washington Street, County Highway 45, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Washington Street could be improved by repairing 170 feet of drain tile with cast-in-place pipe liner, installing approximately 260 feet of new storm sewer and two drainage structures, tree transplanting, seeding and erosion control; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $105,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the repair of drain tile on the south side of Washington Street, east of Illinois Route 83, and designated as Section 13-00135-12-DR.
