• SMC manages 39 properties throughout Lake County.
• Thirty-six properties were acquired through voluntary floodplain buyouts, with three additional properties acquired for future flood mitigation projects.
• All properties are maintained as open space, with no remaining structures.
• SMC staff have identified 16 properties for transfer to local government entities in 2027 for long-term ownership and maintenance.
