Staff Summary

•                     The Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) receives Lake County Affordable Housing Funds to provide up to $5,000 in purchase assistance to be used for downpayment, closing costs, and/or interest buydowns to assist first time homebuyers who earn less than 100% area median income. 

•                     AHC is requesting that one of its employees be allowed to participate in this program.  See attached documents.

•                     Staff has discussed this request with the State Attorney’s Office and was assured that there is no violation to Lake County’s ordinances regarding Conflict of Interest.
