* The Lake County Board, at its meeting of September 14, 2021, appropriated $1,112,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the 2022 Patrol I, Traffic Signal Maintenance and $75,000 for Electrical Service, and designated as Section 22-00000-01-GM.
* Change Orders need to be approved by the standing committees for cumulative net increases over 10 percent.
* Change Order Number One in the amount of $87,634.57 and Change Order Number Two in the amount of $214,702.76 were both needed to repair unexpected traffic signal equipment damage due to vehicle collisions.
* The sum of all contract change orders to date is $302,337.33, which represents a 32.64 percent increase over the original awarded contract amount.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, maintains 213 traffic control signal installations with interconnect, 35 flashing beacons, 20 PASSAGE communication cabinets, and more than 690 streetlights for the County, as well as Deerfield, Deer Park, Gurnee, Highland Park, Highwood and the Illinois Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on September 14, 2021, the County Board approved an appropriation of $1,112,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for 2022 traffic signal maintenance; and
WHEREAS, traffic signal maintenance in 2022 was under contract with Meade Electric Company, Inc., Willowbrook, Illinois, in the amount of $926,165.14; and
