· The original appropriation of $450,000 of Matching Tax funds needs to be supplemented by $130,000 to cover this additional work.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Wilson Road (County Highway 7) is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the intersection of Wilson Road at Nippersink Road could be improved; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, at its meeting of April 12, 2009, appropriated $450,000 of Matching Tax funds for the professional engineering services to improve Wilson Road at Nippersink Road by the installation of a roundabout; and
WHEREAS, additional professional engineering services are needed to evaluate a traffic signal alternative in addition to the completed evaluation of a roundabout, including several revisions to the original scope of work; and
WHEREAS, a supplemental appropriation of funds is necessary for the professional engineering for the above described change of said improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a supplemental appropriation of $130,000 of Matching Tax funds is hereby authorized for the improvement of Wilson Road at Nippersink Road, and designated as Section 03-00070-06-CH.
