RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office applied for and was awarded the Law Enforcement Camera Grant from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office submitted a grant request to offset reimbursable costs for officer-worn and in car (dash) body cameras.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chair of the Board is hereby authorized to approve an emergency appropriation in the amount of $41,760 and that the Chair of the Board, the Lake County Sheriff, and the Lake County Treasurer are authorized to execute the necessary documentation to accept the Law Enforcement Camera Grant from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board; and
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED, that an emergency appropriation for the grant in the amount of $41,760 is hereby authorized as follows:
