R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Weiland Road, County Highway 73, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Weiland Road is beneficial to the safety and welfare of the State of Illinois and the County as a whole; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Weiland Road could be improved, from Lake Cook Road to Illinois Route 22, by reconstruction and widening; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a firm be employed to provide professional services for Phase II design engineering services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm, Civiltech Engineering Inc., Itasca, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for the reconstruction and widening of Weiland Road, from Lake Cook Road to Illinois Route 22.
