R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Cedar Lake Road, County Highway 28, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, Lake County PASSAGE is a cooperative initiative of IDOT and Lake County to implement the federal initiative for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and the State of Illinois believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if traffic signals situated along Cedar Lake Road, from Rollins Road to South Rosedale Court, could be modernized and interconnected with Lake County PASSAGE; and
