R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Delany Road, County Highway 22, is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Delany Road could be improved by reconstruction, widening, the installation of permanent traffic control signals, and the construction of detention and compensatory flood plain areas; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that there is hereby appropriated $4,025,000 of County Bridge Tax Funds, $2,795,000 of Matching Tax funds and $10,505,000 of ¼% for Transportation and Public Safety Tax funds for the reconstruction and widening of Delany Road from Sunset Avenue to York House Road and designated as Section 00-00093-17-WR.
