2008 Emergency Appropriation- Animal/Rabies Control Tag Fees - Smithson

LCHD/CHC increased the annual fees for rabies tags effective January 1, 2008. As a result of these increased fees, Environmental Health projects an additional $250,000 in fees will be collected by the end of FY 2008. These fees will be secured in the capital building fund to go towards the cost of building the new animal shelter to be built in 2009.
Suggested Motion
To approve acceptance of funds from increased rabies tags be budgeted for the new animal shelter.
