RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County incurred expenses allowable under the Solid Waste Management Tax Fund that exceed the amount approved in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 budget; and
WHEREAS, Fund 270 Solid Waste Management Tax has sufficient reserves in fund balance to cover these expenses and fund the transfer to the Health Department’s Environmental Health Division, which conducted the work; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation is necessary to provide sufficient funding to fund the transfer to the Health Department for the FY 2024 expenses over the previously approved budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation from fund balance from the Solid Waste Management Tax Fund in the amount of $27,573.41 is appropriated in account 270-1110010-79920 (Transfers Other Funds) and is hereby authorized.
