· The county has been allocated CMAQ funds to improve these intersections as roundabouts and IDOT administers all federal funds.
· Phase II design engineering is underway and there needs to be a supplement to the IDOT Phase II design engineering services agreement to provide for additional on-going work.
· This supplement provides for the county to receive 80% reimbursement for the entire cost of Phase II design engineering.
Body
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County by prior resolution dated March 11, 2008 entered into an agreement for the use of federal highway funds for the improvements to the intersections of Hunt Club Road (County Highway 29), at Millburn Road (County Highway 14) and at Wadsworth Road (County Highway 17) and designated as Section 02-00076-13-CH.

WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County Illinois by prior resolution at its meeting of March 11, 2008 appropriated $320,000 of Matching Tax funds for Phase II engineering services (Design Engineering) associated with said improvements; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of expanding the scope of the original engineering services for said improvement.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY that the Chair of the Lake County Board, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized and they are hereby directed to execute a supplement to the agreement pertaining to the financing of the above-named improvement, said supplement expanding the scope of ...
