WHEREAS, the county is required to accrue all expenses into fiscal 2009.that were incurred as of November 30, 2009,
WHEREAS, the county continues to receive bills from Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Express Scripts for payments to health care providers for services before November 30, 2009. Traditionally these bills will continue to be received through 2010,
WHEREAS, the county had a number of high claims for fiscal 2009 and there are insufficient budget remaining in the fund to record the liabilities estimated by the county’s actuary. The fund has sufficient fund balance to allow this emergency appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that an emergency appropriation is hereby approved as follows:
