R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the bituminous maintenance of various County roads and bike paths, and seal coating of the LCDOT highway garage parking lot, and designated as Section 12-00000-09-GM; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the base bid work described above, the added alternative bidding process was used for bidders to provide costs for including Alternative A work, Alternative B work, Alternative C work, Alternative D work, Alternative E work and Alternative F work, with a total contract award limit of $1,150,000; and
WHEREAS, added Alternative A includes HMA patching of County highways, HMA shoulder patching, and bike path resurfacing. The HMA highway patching includes sections of Grass Lake Road, west of Illinois Route 59 and east of Deep Lake Road; 33rd Street, from Lewis Avenue to Green Bay Road, and Hawley Street, from Gilmer Road to Chevy Chase Road.
