R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Pulaski Drive (County Highway 78) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Pulaski Drive from IL Rte 43 to IL Rte 131 could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $1,345,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds for the resurfacing of resurfacing of Pulaski Drive from IL Rte 43 to IL Rte 131 and designated as Section 10-00196-07-RS.
