Resolution reassigning Lake County Board Member Sidney Mathias from the Law and Judicial Committee to the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, assignments to standing committees are made every two years when the Lake County Board undergoes reorganization; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with section XVII.A.4 Standing Committees of the Rules of Order and Operational Procedures, members may make a request to the Chairman of the County Board, at any time, to change committee assignments due to a change in circumstances; and
WHEREAS, County Board Member Sidney Mathias has requested a change in assignment from the Law and Judicial Committee due to a change in circumstances; and
WHEREAS, the County Board Chairman has reviewed Member Mathias’ request and is amenable to the change of committee assignments; and
WHEREAS, there currently exists a vacancy in the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that a change in committee assignments is hereby granted and that County Board Member Sidney Mathias is hereby reassigned from the Law and Judicial Committee to the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.
