· This resurfacing improvement has been identified within the county's pavement management system and is included in the 2011 program.
· Before a project letting can be held, an appropriation of $2,310,000 of Matching Tax funds is necessary.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cedar Lake Road, County Highway 28, is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Cedar Lake Road from Rosedale Court to Rollins Road and from Monaville Road to Illinois Rte 132 could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $2,310,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Cedar Lake Road from Rosedale Court to Rollins Road and from Monaville Road to Illinois Rte 132 and designated as Section 11-00999-18-RS.
