Presentation by SWALCO on the Need for Standards for Recycling Facilities for Construction and Demolition Debris
Staff Summary
• Mr. Walter Willis from SWALCO will be at the Committee Meeting to provide the background information on the need to establish the standards relating to the recycling facilities for construction and demolition debris. He will summarize the proposed standards.
• The Committee is asked to provide guidance to staff if it wishes to incorporate the proposed standards into the Unified Development Ordinance. The process would require authorization by the County Board to the Zoning Board of Appeals to conduct a public hearing to amend the Unified Development Ordinance with the final adoption by the County Board.
