* The cooperative purchasing agreement used by several departments throughout the County to purchase legacy phone lines with Peerless Networks has expired. These legacy phone lines will be consolidated under the County's existing Granite Technologies contract where administration and support will be centralized under Enterprise IT.
* This contract modification approves increasing the existing contract with Granite Technologies through GSA (GS-35F-208BA), from $600,000 to $776,908.

RE: Contract Modification Number One with Granite Technologies of Quincy, Massachusetts,
1. Lake County Board approved an agreement with Granite Technologies on September 8, 2020, in the amount of $600,000 for telecommunication/data services.
2. The cooperative purchasing agreement used by several departments to purchase legacy phone lines with Peerless Networks has expired and cannot be renewed as they no longer offer these services. Enterprise IT has identified 256 lines that we will move and consolidate with Granite Technologies and requests Contract Modification Number One to reduce administration and align support under a single vendor.
3. This resolution ratifies the existing contract with Granite Technologies through GSA (GS-35F-208BA), not to exceed $176,908, increasing the contract from $600,000 to $776,908.
4. In accordance with Chapter 33.082 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, this Contract Modification is germane to the original contract as signed; and is in the best interest of Lake County, and it is requested that the ...
