WHEREAS, the current lease agreement for office space in Lake County facilities occupied by the Honorable Mark S. Kirk, expired on December 31, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Congressman Mark S. Kirk desires to renew and extend the current lease agreement; and
WHEREAS, the lease agreement provides for monthly rent payments as follows:
Term of Lease January 1, 2009 - January 2, 2011
Total Space 310 square feet
Monthly Payment $ 538.63
Total for Lease Extension $12,927.12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to negotiate and the Chair of the County Board be authorized to execute a District Office Lease Extension and District Office Lease Attachment for office space in Lake County facilities with congressman Mark S. Kirk, a copy of which lease extension and attachment are attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution.
