WHEREAS, bids were called for by publication for Microfilm Services for the Clerk of the Circuit Court; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations for bids were extended to the twenty-two (22) firms; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from seven (7) firms and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, Microsystems, Inc., of Northbrook, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Microfilm Services in the estimated annual amount of $125,875, five (5) other bids received ranged from: $127,000 to $390,875 and one (1) bid was determined to be non-responsive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a two-year contract with options to renew with Microsystems, Inc., Northbrook, IL, for Microfilm Services for the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the estimated annual amount of $125,875, charging the total cost to account #258-3110010-79940.
